Why are your fortune cookies so wise? Mine always say things like "Your lucky number is 16," to which I ask MY LUCKY NUMBER FOR WHAT?!
When we were married, my husband and I had a big family dinner shortly afterward for people who couldn't make it to the wedding. We were given fortune cookies with a "marriage" theme at the end of the meal and everybody went around the table reading their slips. My husband read his first, and it was something along the lines of "Give your spouse a kiss and a loving touch once everyday." Mine was next to be read and it said "Do not always give in to your companion's desires." Awesome.
